What Mission Serve does

We keep a small, careful office so that those in the field don’t have to, and so more of every gift reaches the work.

  1. I.

    Receiving gifts

Donors give to a partner’s own designated fund and receive a receipt for every gift, plus a year-end statement.

  2. II.

    Sending support

Support is sent to each partner every month, including international wires to wherever they serve.

  3. III.

    Keeping the books

We handle the accounting, financial oversight and back-office work a nonprofit requires.

We are not a sending agency. We don’t direct your ministry or raise support on your behalf. We tend the finances so you can tend your calling.

Common questions

Will Mission Serve oversee my ministry?
No. We handle financial administration only. We don’t supervise field work, assign placements, or raise support for you.
Do I need donors before I apply?
No, but you should be actively building support. Starting support of $1,000–2,000 a month is fine. Raising support remains your responsibility.
How long does it take to get started?
Most partners are active within a week of applying. Your fund is usually set up within days of approval.
What does the five percent fee cover?
Accounting, donor receipts, year-end statements, monthly disbursements, and the back-office work a nonprofit requires. Nothing else is added.
Can I give with stock or a donor-advised fund?
Yes. Contact us for transfer instructions.
