Mission Serve, Inc. ("Mission Serve," "we") is a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This policy explains what information we collect through joinmissionserve.org and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Applications and onboarding. If you apply to partner with us or complete onboarding, we collect what you enter: contact details, information about your ministry, references, accountability contacts, uploaded files and your electronic signature on our Letter of Agreement.
- Donations. Gifts are processed by our giving platform, Givebutter. Payment details go to Givebutter and its payment processors, not to this website.
- Tax and bank information. We never collect Social Security numbers or bank account numbers through this website. W-9s are completed through QuickBooks, and bank details through a secure e-signature service.
- Basic technical data. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. When you sign the Letter of Agreement, we record your IP address and the time as part of the signature record.
How we use it
We use your information to review applications, administer the funds raised for your ministry, send tax receipts to donors, meet our legal and IRS reporting obligations, and contact you. Application information is shared with our board of directors and the references you list, when we contact them.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate (for example Notion, Cloudflare, Givebutter, QuickBooks and our bookkeeper), with our board, or when required by law.
Keeping it safe
Access to applicant and donor records is limited to the people who need it. Sensitive tax and banking documents are kept out of our general records.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, subject to records we're required to keep. Email jesse@joinmissionserve.org.
